Last Bits of Fall

Ahhh, fall. Foliage is beautiful but this is about as much foliage as you get in L.A. Though I have spotted some beautiful trees on certain streets. See, we do have seasons...sorta.
The rain outside my window, Catpower playing, and my hot cup of chamonile tea right now is divine.

Je Suis Nostalgique

As the Los Angeles climate starts to simmer down a bit, the breeze feels just slightly frigid when the sun sets, and there is even just a little bit of fog over LA town, I miss the city where it was almost always cold, the air is always crisp, and the people always strike you one way or another.

San Francisco a place I will always be proud to have resided in because it caused me to morph in such a great way. Sometimes I feel a little displaced here in LA. Maybe this is because I haven't found my niche, maybe its just a weird transition period , my I'll just never be satisfied staying in one spot when I know that there is a whole world out there. Who knows.

Either way, I always take in everything - good or bad - and just live it and love it. I mean, what else are ya gonna do????

How Great It Would Be

How great it would be to just pick up and leave, go somewhere random, not tell anyone, and respond friends months and months later about your whereabouts, what you've been doing, the new life you've been living, the adventures you're having. If only.... Soon, soon. It's such a fantasy of mine to just pick up and leave, not let anyone know wher eI am going or what I am doing. Heck, I probably wouldn't even know.
Lately, my dreams have been random, recurring, distinct, vivid, yet at times unclear.
Lately, I've been wondering how I have gotten into the world of business trips and conference calls. I do enjoy my job nontheless - working for a better world, or something like that.
I love this warm warm weather in November even though it would be nice to see some real fall foliage, like that I experiened the few days I was in New England.

Ready, Set.....

I'm really not quite sure where I'm going to go with this yet but I guess this is a start.

Iguazu Falls, Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. This trip definately left my feet aching for more. I've made plans for so many destinations in the next few years. I can not wait to take off again!

All a girl needs in life is a backpack and a passport, the rest just doesn't matter. The good and great things happen along the way, and whats lost is usually just extra baggage anyway.

What's on my travel itinerary?? The entire freaking world! However, what seems to lie in the near future are Paris and London. Those places were never a priority on my list, but I met someone who left curiosity in me.

In the mean time a girl has got to earn money for these trips so I'll just be doing my thing, making this and other things happen.

What's keeping me happy lately? Mint chocolate chip ice cream, scented candles, cool evenings, decorating my room, hanging out with my sister, and just sitting outside trying to be creative.
